Simon Pegg and Nick Frost were last seen together kicking ass in Hot Fuzz. Now, they have gone and written a script, Paul, that is currently in production in the States. With their usual director, Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz), currently finishing up principal photography on Scott Pilgrim vs the World, they have turned to Superbad and Adventureland director Greg Mottola to helm.
The story revolves around two British geeks who run into a real live alien while doing the Comic Convention circuit in the ol’ US of A. This should fill the gap nicely while we wait for them to reunite with Wright to finish their Cornetto Trilogy with World’s End.
