Comic Con 2009 has been unleashed in San Diego and the web is all aTwitter with geek outpourings over panels and footage for the likes of Avatar, Tron Legacy, and Kick-Ass.
The highlight for me has been the teaser trailer for Hot Tub Time Machine. Directed by Steve Pink who co-wrote Grosse Point Blank and High Fidelity (based on Nick Hornby’s excellent book), it stars John Cusack (co-writer and star of the aforementioned flicks), Craig Robinson (Knocked Up, Pineapple Express, Zack and Miri Make a Porno), Rob Corddry (The Daily Show), Clark Duke (umm, yeah), Crispin Glover (Back to the Future, Rivers Edge), and Chevy Chase (Caddyshack, Caddyshack, Caddyshack!).
Being a huge fan of High Fidelity and Grosse Point Blank, I am looking forward to see what Pink and Cusack do with this film. The teaser trailer is a delight. Enjoy!
